Collecting donations for young cat that needs surgery at University of Pennsylvania "London" was a stray that we rescued at 11pm in December 08'on London ave in Egg Harbor City. She was found with a large hernia out of her side that needed immediate repair. Atlantic Animal provided the 2 hour surgical procedure and also spayed her at the same time. A week after her surgery, she start showing symptoms of toxicity and had a ultrasound at Garden State Vet Specialists. She was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Garden State attempted to repair this surgically, however, the shunt goes through the liver, not around it. There are only a hand full of surgeons in the country that can perform the surgery. One of them practices at UofP and we are now raising $4000 dollars to have her surgery done.
If you are unable to adopt a cat, 'London' could really use your help with a donation. Won't you stop by the hospital, give her a visit and contribute to her fund? Anything is appreciated. |
